Member Retired Gumby Posts: 1092 | I have tried the game. Bought it from their page, so not only I got it on Steam, as usual with indie games, but also I can donwload an installer. I was aware of it for a long time, and at last it was published, the first Dungeon Master clone in years. Well, there were a few for portable consoles and mobiles, but the ones I tried and saw weren't much to be remembered. Only played the first level, which lasted around half an hour, maybe a bit more (the game is said to last around ten hours). And the Dungeon Master influences are very clear. With lots of improvements, like an auto-map (seen in Dungeon Hack), or, at last, auto-recovering ammo. Still, what I want to see are the mods tools they are planning to release, starting with a dungeon editor, and adding scripting and other features when they can, which will bring lots of new dungeons, and probably also some remakes, to the game. |
