Chase H.Q. added. The next one will be tough, because there's little to write about it...

Ok, just to show you I did it this morning: Spacewar.

That was the whole request list. Thanks for all the suggestions!

For the record, I've officially been showed :)

So, it wasn't a space invaders clone after all.

Being worked on. But finding a house is kinda on first priority now.

I've been thinking of splitting it onto smaller updates just to cover the waiting time.

Sounds perverted, but whatever turns you on...

In any case, seven games was the site's largest game addition at once so far, so that wouldn't be all that hard to beat. I don't know what the idea behind it is, but if it isn't you doing the biggest update all on your own, I have no problem piling my own next few additions up so that we can all add the on the same day to beat the old record as a team. What about it?

I'd like to do that, but since I can write about eight reviews a day if I have a full day off (which I don't have often), and I still have about 30 to go, I'm not there yet. However, we could just post all reviews done so far at once, which would already beat the record by a few hundred percent or so :)

Well, I'm not able to write more than one review a day anymore, sometimes it even takes more than a day to write just one, so I hope you're not putting too much hope into me on this. At the moment, after posting three new reviews over the last week, I'm only done with half a review again already, but I'm certainly at it. Just let me know when the deadline is.

Update: I have three game entries are ready by now. To be able to produce that many this quickly, I had to choose common (and relatively current) games. How many more do we need?

How big do you want the update? And please, go slow. Chances are I won't be able to write anything this week.

That's what I'm asking you :P As I said, eight should be the minimum, so in addition to my three, five more are needed. Since you have zero so far (I gather from what you're writing), that's not nearly enough yet. The more impressive you want the update, the longer it's going to take - make up your mind.

Ok, if we're talking about such a high number, it would be a good idea if you'd let us know which games you've already reviewed to avoid work being done twice. Here's my own list of finished game entries:

1869
Battle Isle 2
Incubation
Edit: Rock'n Roll
Edit 2: Redhook's Revenge ***added
Edit 3: Moonmist
Edit 4: The Lurking Horror
Edit 5: Deadline

26 games so far!

Should I also review Eat This? It's probably too big to offer on the site...

Also, maybe a new genre is needed... "cards"

Don't know... 'puzzle' works fine for me. Any opinions?

"Cards" is too specific in my opinion - we don't have "tennis" or "golf" categories either. Card games would rather belong to "sports".

I'd suggest "table top games" or whatever fits in translation of French "jeux de soci?t?".

The hard thing is always to distinguish between genre and theme. For example, 'tennis' and 'golf' are themes of the sports genre. Card games, just like board games and other of the type Eagle mentioned (don't know the word, either, but my minimal French is good enough to understand what you mean) are hard to categorize. Basically, most boardgames are strategy games, I'd say, but some cases aren't so obvious. Still, making whole new genres just for them?

I think puzzle is a better classification of them than sports.
